Bed moving towing?

I have a new 2011 Superduty and when I hoot the trailer to it the bed near the cab moves. Almost like the frame is squatting. At the top the gap moves a little over a quarter of an inch and at the bottom is doesnt move at all. Is that normal? Is it ok?

Here are some pics to see.

Top of the bed moves away from cab when loaded. It straightens back up when the trailer is off

How much tongue weight are we talking? Are you running the factory hitch? Are you using a WD hitch?

Maybe 1000 tongue pounds. Factory tag a long hitch. That trailer is alum and empty

You can check the bed bolts for tightness, but remember that the bed and cab always move differently from each other, thats one reason they are not connected.

They are tight. Heck its a new truck. I just didnt know a bed would squat like that. Of course the rear of the truck would go down but not act like the frame is bending.
This is my first 250 SRW. I have always had DRW 350's and they never do this even when they are loaded down and the rear is weighed down.

Even concrete flex under heavy load. I visited new bridge over Hoover Dam and it was kind of scary feeling the huge structure moving up and down when semi drove over.
So some flexing is absolutely normal. Question is what would be excessive.
I would start with taking the set to the scales and weighting the tongue.

I just don't see any difference in the cab/bed gap in those photos.
