silver bullit or POR15 whats better?

within the next two weeks im going to fix my bed cross supports. there are rotting through. and going to paint the entire frame while the beds off, plus my under body where ford didnt paint the body good enough. So ive seen alot about POR15 but from what ive read you have to buy pre prep first, then some rust stopper and then put POR15 on top after all of that? Now ive been reading about silver bullit and all you have to do is remove surface rust and paint? and its suppose to be better than POR15 from what ive read on reviews? I have a local paint supplier that sells por15 but he wants 15-20 more a quart than i can get shipped for free.

I have been using the Eastwood stuff for many years and I have always been happy with the results.

Rust Paint - Rust Proofing Products - Rust Protection - Corrosion Control - Eastwood

On your application, I would just use the rust converter. If it doesn't completely cover, turns all black, on the first coat, then add another coat.

After it is good and dry, paint over it with rust-o-leum. Should be rust free for many, many years.

If you want to put a cosmetically pretty finish on it, you might want to use the rust encapsalator before painting.

my main problem is under the cab where all the supports are welded to the main body, they are starting to rust and bubble slightly around these areas so i want to clean it the best i can and then get some good rust proof paint on these areas to stop it from rotting holes in my truck.

I have been using the rust converter on my old vehicles, 70 Ford F100, 56 station wagon to mention a couple. I also use it on my '48 Ford tractor and implements. Some of the areas were treated more than 20 years ago and still show no signs of rust. I think that it will work well for your application.

I suspect that some of the other products will work as well, but I do not have personal experience with them.

Been doing rust for decades.. Nothing really works like a good coat of waxoyl hard wax.
I needle scale then spray right over the rusted area. I have used rust bullet and all the rest and nothing really seems to work as good as waxoyl..
