rear leaf springs
No they are not, the 4x4 springs are a tad wider. If you wanted to use 4x4 springs, you'd have to change the spring perches and shackle.
Primary rig is Green Thunder:
95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Flowmaster Exhaust, Sunroof, Clear corners w/ Diamond headlights, CD player with 2 10" subs and some 32" BFG Muds .

rear leaf springs
mine is a 4x4
the springs are 3 inches wide and there is 5 leafs
i found a set at a wrecker but he is unsure if they are from a 2 or 4 wheel drive
they are also 3 inches with 5 leafs but mine are still in the truck so i cannot compare
so if his are 3 inches wide aswell does this mean they are 4x4 leafs

rear leaf springs
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-Nov-02 AT 10:19 PM (EST)]I think they're the same. I currently have 2WD F-250 rear leaves on my Bronco and they work great for holding up all the extra weight I've added to the truck.
I think the difference in 2 & 4WD rear suspensions is in the blocks put between the axle & springs. I know all Broncos use a tapered block and 4WD pickups use a thick flat block with a horn on the inside.

I had a 95 F-150 2wd and now have a 95 F-150 4x4 and the springs are different. Close, but different. I was told when I was planning on my 4wd conversion for my told truck that the springs were different.
