Grabbed some junker rims and got her sitting lower. Hoping to start the tear down today. Still need and intercooler and a divorced 205 if anyone has one laying around. Tank and Thermo-coustic showed up. Need to start prioritizing so i don't get tied up working on crap that can be done with the 12v in.

The 460, C6 and 205 are out! Need to grab a sawzall tomorrow and get the exhaust out. Thinking I'll start test fitting the cummins tomorrow. Still need to clock the turbo. Any tips?

Looking good. It looks like the frame pieces are welded to the frame?

I'm looking at doing something very similar, I have a '79 standard cab long bed and looking for a '78 or '79 crew or supercab, havn't decided on which yet, and do a cummins swap. keep thinking I have made up my mind on one then I find the other I want.

Looks nice & stong! Let us know how the poly mounts work. I was considering using poly when I made mine but figured they'd transfer more shock/vibration to the chassis so I stuck with rubber.
