My Dad and I have been making frequent trips to the San Joaquin valley in California lately. We travel on highway 12 which is arguably the death highway of California. Anyway, 90% of the road is a daytime running light section. So is a 30 mile section of HWY 395 I drive frequently. Is there a way I can enable DRL's on this truck so I don't have to worry about this so often? I'm thinking it may not be a bad idea to enable them for mountain road driving, etc. Is there a simple way to do this that wouldn't require going to a Ford dealership? I've heard there's kits I can buy to enable them but I'd prefer to not add modules to the truck if there's some sort of on-board option. Thanks! Not sure if it matters but it's a 6.0 PowerStroke.
