is there any such thing as a leak free 7.3l?

im just woundering cus the little things bother me and one of them little things is seeing oil spots on the ground. i cant seem to shake them everytime i replace orings the oil drops slow down but then something else starts to leak.

When I bought mine. It was leak so bad that I can't stand it.

I fix all leak now it clean.

Yes there is such a thing. I have one(7.3) that is leak free but I have changed about every o-ring on it at least once. I cant stand a leak.

im almost to the point to pull the engine and redo every seal on the darn thing from rear main to the hpop

Before you do.

Just power wash clean then drive for 1 week then peek to see where new leak come from.

Mine were HPOP and fuel filter housing leak it.

I've got 206K and have only had to replace one HPOP ring, the fuel drain valve, and the two on the valve cover's "doghouse".

Spotless driveway.

Only had mine for 20k miles but shortly after I got it I had the fuel bowl drain leak. Fixed that and not a drip since

It's one of those things that if you take care of as they happen you wont have so many you are overwhelmed.

Ive got 138k and have only done the fuel drain valve.
Im with pop "Spotless Driveway" so it is possible.
Do like milwaukee1979f150 suggested and get her all cleaned up and start attacking the leaks.

If you do the work yourself it want cost much plus you will learn alot about your motor or at least the valley area. Its not a bad job, where are you located one of us may be close enough to give you a hand.

well so far with 138,000 miles i did turbo once now again,ebvp complete rebuild, camshft sensor oring, whole fuel bowl,ccv and now the 3 hpop ones. i know my rear main is leaking or the pan seal right there but i have oil mist on top side to make dirt and oil sludge on everything , barely any pooling in valley and front leak now appears the lpop seal

and thats me driving like its a brand new lincoln, i seriously baby my truck and all my buds 7.3's they treat like crap and they leak less or just a much and i can figure it out

Oil mist? why dont you plug the EBPV and stop that one for good.

WOW Seth does your truck a have a dip pan/bucket to keep it off the ground? Just kidding I have had my share of leaks but I always fixed it pretty easy.
