front gas gauge always E

my front gas tank pump does not tell me how much gas is in my tank its always on E....iv changed pumps iv traced wires...i doubt its the float because i just put one that worked from my other truck in it .....i dont no what else it could be.....??

checked for blown fuses at all?

if your not sure or havent checked fuses I would do so

If the back sender works and the front don't..........It could be the switch, it changes the sending units when it changes pumps... Or the plug on back of switch... Not saying this is your problem, but it is something else to check..
