Speedometer?

Is there any place where I can get a new speedometer for my '66 F250 4X4? The speedometer works, but the odometer only works in reverse (the mileage decreases whenever I back up). Is there any place that could repair it? I actually need 2 speedometers because the one in grandpa's '65 F250 4X4 also died (the whole speedometer quit).

I have a speedo, that came out of my truck. I put in one with a full gauge package. If you want it send me a PM, and we can arrange to send it to you.

Still no part number? Maybe these things are a very rare part.

C1TZ-17255-E .. Round Speedometer / Obsolete

Marked on backside (black rubber stamped) after 1966: C7TF-17282-J or D0BF-17282-A

Applications: 1961/66 F100/1100 (except Open Drive-Away's) / 1961/66 B500/700 (B = School Bus) / 1961/67 C850/1000 / 1963/69 N/NT/T500/1000 / 1965/67 Econoline / 1966/74 Bronco / 1967/69 F800/1000.

Rare part...today: SIX are available NOS from Ford Dealers/obsolete parts vendors.

Note: 1975/77 Bronco (D5BZ-17255-A) is essentially the same as C1TZ-17255-E except it's marked "Unleaded Gasoline Only."

JST AUTOMOTIVE in Lebanon TN has ONE = 615-443-3086.

MILLER OBSOLETE PARTS in Binghamton NY has ONE = 606-722-5371.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has ONE = 800-476-9653.

HIGH BUCK! BOB ALLEN FORD in Overland Park KS has ONE = 800-676-0675.

ALCALDE AUTO PARTS in Hato Rey PA (zip 00916) has ONE = 787-753-1845.

FORD CENTRAL INC. in Hato Rey AL (zip 00918) has ONE = 787-753-1845.

These are how these last two sources are listed on the parts locator. Something smells cuz the numbers are the same and the zips are close together, so I doubt the one listed in AL is actually located there.

Bob Allen wants MEGA-BUCKS for obsolete parts...call as a last resort, or call first, and be prepared for 'sticker shock!'
