Hope everyone's sunday is going well!

I got the bug today, and am trying to finish up my NAV radio install...
Sony NAV radio is in. Now all I need to do is hook up the 2 Sirus module boxes, and this Sony Rear View Camera...

I just have a quick question if anyone has attempted to run the rear view camera wires thru the back of the cab on the truck??
I see on the driver's side (near the bottom, by the drivers side shoulder seatbelt bolt on the floor), there is a pop out rubber gromet.
I am thinking of running the small gauge camera wiring thru this hole, would I be correct in doing so, or is there another easier way to route it?

LASTLY, I have to run a signal wire to the reverse lights, to activate the rear camera.
Is there an easy route for this task? (ie: is the wiring harness for the backup lights near the cab of the truck?)
