I have a 1996 explorer xlt 4.0 litre five speed class 3 towing package and I can't find a valid answer on the towing capacity for it from ford or anyone. I am waiting for fords research team to get back to me but its frustrating me. Help I just want to ford for not having a solid answer. Thanks

 

It should be in your manual. If it is not, tell me what your rear axle is and I can tell you what the capacity is.
