I am forced to abandon my project for several reasons.
This truck is in fair shape, has all the typical rusty areas, but is still salvageable. I put in new kingpins, brakes, and brake plumbing with dual port master cylinder conversion. Rear is a Dana 60 limited slip, 4.10 gears. NP435 transmission. It is a Custom Cab, but cluster has been modified with new gauges, and a hole cut out for an old two post radio in the dash. Bench seat is not original. I have a pair of bucket seats (driver's is power) that were going to be put.
Engine is a 352. It's a shortblock at the moment because the heads have the dreaded sunken exhaust valves. I have an Edelbrock Performer 390 manifold and Holley 600 vacuum secondary carb to go with it. It's bored .030 over, and I'm not sure about the crank. Cylinder walls are in good shape, but all the expansion plugs are out because the block needs flushed. Has a new timing set, though.
I want $300 for the engine, only to recover some cost of the manifold and carb. The truck is partially dismantled (radiator core support removed, as well as the engine) so I'll take whatever someone will give me, down to "haul it off." Would probably need to be trailered out, fenders are not fully attached and hood cannot be latched. Guess it could be towed, but wouldn't recommend it.
Obviously the truck and engine are available separately, but I will not part each out individually.
