Bud sorry to see you couldn't make it.
What a day, after a wonderful roast beef dinner prepared by the lovely Helen, we all loaded into the Expy to visit Barry and Rev at the campground in Ocean City. So I guess we could say it turned into a mini-meet with SoCal, DE and MD!
From there we toured the inlet in OC, saw the barrier island of Assateague and then headed north into DE via RTE 1.
On the way to Rehoboth, we had to stop at the Indian River Inlet bridge so Steve could, ummm, p(note the wimmen didn't have to go).
On our way once again, we stopped in Rehoboth, paid the parking meter and proceeded down the board walk. Had Steve treat himself to Thrasher's french fries and then I treated him to a Kohr Bros. soft swirl ice cream cone. It certainly was hot on the boards mainly because of the land breeze.
Dinner was had at Big Fish Grille and as luck would have it, Steve bought. lol
From there we went to Lewes to see the KalMar Nichel sailing ship at the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, and then headed to historic Georgetown.
Finally homey again and some well deserved Miller's.
Apparently the dogs didn't miss us and slept while we were gone.
After a huge country breakfast, prepared my me, Steve, Gail and Max headed west to their homey in SoCal.
Have a safe trip my fiends!

The Yeungling was great ...so were the crab cakes.
Many thanks to our gracious hosts George, Helen & Abby. You have a beautiful home and made us feel most welcome.
Good to see Barry and Rev too...we didn't stick around there too long because the clams were all gone, and Barry wasn't gonna cook up any crab.
We did manage to hang a parking ticket on Rev's dually before we left though
