Totally agree and I would choose 99.5-2004

 

I voted 05 to 07. I believe the looks of those years have nice proportions starting at the grill and the way the rest of the body just seems to blend together.

 

love them all (except the fenders on the 11+ models

gotta say the 05-07's though because I just bought a 06

 

I liked the 06's looks as I had one. Just enough of everything. Have an 08 now and just like it. I really like the new ones.

 

That front suspension was on fords starting in the '70's I don't know where you get it came from Dodge! I like the first generation so much I have 2! An '02 wht 4x4 CC SRW LB F-250 & a '07 Az beige 4x4 CC DRW LB F-350 both lifted 6" on 35x12.50/70 17's

I've had a 1989, 1994, 2000, 2003, 2005, 2009, and 2011. My vote for best looking is 08-10. Here's mine:

 

I guess I'm partial to the 2011 because I have one. I love the "in your face" look of the front end. It makes poeple move outta my way quicker! The 04-07 are a close second.

 

I have to agree with everyone else... 08-10 style is the looker. I have liked all of the years polled, but the 08-10 is the win.

The new 11-12 style looks good also, but there is something about the front end that makes it look too heavy and out of proportion. It reminds me of a pig snout for some reason. The black leather interior and dark blue metallic paint of the 11 sitting at my local dealership was outstanding. They were a little too proud of the truck at $65K+/- for me to even continue the hope/dream process. Of course, all bs aside, if I could afford an 11-12 it would be sitting in the driveway.

 

LSchicago2: that is one nice looking tow rig. The pride you take in you equipment and work really show by the appearance. Well done. In fact it is so nice and detailed, I've been motivated to have my children go outside and wash/wax my truck for me.

I like the earlier ones, and not just because I own an '04. I actually prefer the '05-'07 front ends. The newer ones just seem a little overkill for me, but the interiors are quite nice.

 

I say 05-07 looks the best. Someone once told me the 08-10's look like they have down syndrome (no offense) and ever since then I can't help but thinking that when I see one. Also the 11's look like a pig, the front end is way too big. Although if they are lifted with some big tires it kind of evens it out and then they look awesome

i think ford screwed up designing the '11 grille, i dont like it at all, they should have gone with more smaller bars rather then just 2 big ugly ones, not only that but how much airflow does that grille block? i havent seen anybody with an aftermarket grille for the new trucks yet but i hope someone has a better looking one

 

Do a google image search for 2011 superduty grille. There are 4 or 5 with aftermarket grilles


I do love the 08 - 10 HD trucks they have a sinister look other wise its 05 - 07 best inside and out

 

I personally couldn't decide so I picked the best styling cues from each iteration for my own SD.

Truck is a 99 with 08 mirrors, 07 grill, 11 4x4 logo and F350 rims/tires (PLUS A LITTLE CUSTOM ARTWORK) - still more work to do, but its getting there
