Just bought a 1995 F250 XT 7.3 Diesel, 349km on it, rough to start, but once she want to stay running she idles real rough and has no power. I understand im not suppose to ask tech question but just never worked on a diesel before. and need some pointers on what i need to do to get this beast on the road?

First, start by searching the forum for diesel topics.
Glow plug testing
Stancor solenoid upgrade
Glow plug solenoid
Glow plug led

First, change the oil. Replace with rotella t6 synthetic oil or the motorcraft powerstroke oil. Again, search the forum for acceptable diesel powerstroke oil. They aren't all compatible.
Second, change the fuel filter. Don't buy a cheap replacement. Get a good one.
Third, make sure your batteries are good, as well as making sure the cables are good and not corroded at any connection, your starter needs to be getting a good power supply.

Ask questions, but also keep searching here. There are lots of stuff to read and get great info about these trucks.
