LOL...Actually what happened there was Steve stole the cooker's shade umbrella while we were waiting for the award presentation, so the guy put Steve to work...lol.

Thanks Pat. And by the way it was great to put a voice to your username on Saturday via phone. Maybe some day down the road we'll get to cross paths in person.

More random pics of Carlisle and FTE Central in case anyone decides they want to attend next year. There are so many vehicles that rolled in on Saturday it is hard to view them all. I enjoy and appreciate the time and effort all participants made to make it one great show.

Steve doing what he does best, keeps the information flowing

Absolutely awesome weekend. I've done the drive from here to Omaha one time - 17 hours each way and that was when gas was "cheap" (lol ) - no doubt it was a haul.

It's the 4 days of vacation I'd have to take just for travel time that would kill me!

No doubt. When I did that trip I drove it in one day straight through but I was young and stupid then...lol. Unless absolutely necessary, I will never do that again!

Yeah, that too, Pat...gas back then (I drove a Ranger) was around $1.10 or something maybe? This was in '96.

Steve - yeah I hear ya. I left home at 1:30AM and arrived in Omaha at 6:30PM local time there. I crashed hard after that drive...lol.
