first i know nothing about this truck except i drove it home 80 mi
O sorry i am new and i am sorry for my spelling .
the truck had a loud ticking when i looked at it so i bought it it is a lifter ticking
i noticed right off it had very lo oil preshur but on the road it came up to normal.
So . i removed the intake cleaned every thing .VAC LINES .EVERY THING.EFI BODY.
i bought new
16 HYD ROLLER LIFTER
16 PUSH RODS 6.??SOME THING IN LENGHT TO FIT 95 302 ?
8 REBUILT INJ
8 EX VALVE SPRINGS
8 INT VALVE SPRINGS
THEN 3 SETS OF SPARK PLUGS WHAT YA 3 SETS..
THE HEADS THAT ARE ON THIS TAKE THE LONG REACH PLUGS .?
I HAVE READ ON HERE FROM SOME BODY NAME CONANSKI THAT THESE HEADS COULD BE "87" WITCH HAVE A DIFFERANT CHAMBER .
I DONT CARE ABOUT THAT BUT .
I COULD NOT SEE ALL THE CAM LOBES ON THIS CAM .
BUT THEY LOOKED TIP-A-CAL .
i guess what i am looking for is what to do next .
i have all so read the oli pumps on these motors get a little week
this motor dose not KNOCK OR RAL IN THE LOWER END ..
is my problem
push rod lenght
oil pump
or cam failier i know stupid question ...
i am a little older now so doing all this work is ruff when you have No help and no friends i have done a lot of work to this truck. im thinking on selling as is ?
