help! need more power

I have a 96 bronco with maf 351w. I run dana 60s front and rear with 37s. looking for a head/cam setup that will give me more power, nothing too crazy but stock numbers suck. the truck is mostly a toy but i would like the keep it a friendly driver. any suggestions would be much appreciated. trying to keep price around 2g.

If I had $2K I would get a hold of some afr 165's or TFS fast as cast 170's. Then probably a lunati cam, personnaly the 51014 seems to fit the DD capable but wild enough to kick some a$$ profile. Again, just my $.02

BTW either of those heads with that cam should produce in the neighborhood of 350hp/350tq

What gears are in the axles? No matter what you do to the motor the truck needs 4.10-4.56 gears period.

As for an engine hop-up combo, anything from the AFR165/185 to RHS 180s to TFS 170s or anything else in that range will work great... though you'll need a better intake to take full advantage(Edelbrock Performer or ProProducts Typhoon). And for a cam I'd suggest the Comp 35 320-8 advanced a couple degrees from straight up. This combo will make 400tq and 350hp no problem at all.

With 37s im thinking at least 4.88 on the gears , if you have stock gears thats your problem....i would add a good exhaust to the list to if you havn't allready...Lew
