Anyone want to see a driveway paint job?

It is what it is nothing special. My buddys Paps '79 F100 needed a new look. He didnt want to spend a lot so less than $100 and a days worth of work went into it. We chose Ace Rust Stop Leather brown. The truck stays inside all the time so it should last awhile.

Not too bad but not too good either. It was almost 100 deg outside when we did this so conditions werent ideal but it made his Pap happy.

I think it looks great. I've spent almost that much filling my gas tank up.

Thanks! I just thinned it with acetone and shot it out of older Binks HVLP gun. I did a 65 F100 with 2 yr old Rustoleum over the winter in the garage with temps a little cooler and it looks like glass. He washes it weekly too and it still looks nice. After they are done I kinda just have to stand there and laugh because it was so cheap and looks good. The hardest part is sanding it. My buddy ordered the white vinyl for the tailgate to dress it up a little.

Looks amazing, but I think you just pissed off all the maroon dentside lovers, cause you just covered their fav colour!

Not saying I mind the change at all, but others might.

Great job! How did you apply?

^^^^how I applied. Lol well Ace didnt have the factory Ford color so Leather brown it was. The truck had so much surface rust coming through the paint something had to be done. So we sanded it smooth and painted it. If I had a better setup I think I could paint a car pretty decent. Its not something I want to do everyday but its fun every once in awhile.
