2012 Global Ranger Pulls Locomotive and Pours Salt in our Wounds

When I bought my '93 ranger (in '93) that model had set an alltime record for the most trucks sold in one year Ever! 2.3L 5speed.27mpg I put 220,000 miles on it .still run like a charm when it got totaled in a snow storm I am looking for one like it to restore! I bought a 2004 super cab w 4wd and a 4.0L, The quality is gone. Ford "monsterized" it .(which seemed kinda cool at the time,But! I want my '93! In this age of high gas prices it would sell like hot cakes.A basic little truck.

I miss the manual, pedal operated washer pump on my '67 Mustang Fastback.
I disagree. The wiper controls should be a $5.00 switch on the dash. The high beam control should be a $3.00 switch on the floor. Neither should be part of a $300 switch on the damn steering column.
AND, we shold be able to turn on the windshield washer BEFORE we turn on the wipers so we don't scratch our damn windshields.

The stalk mounted wiper and dimmer switches are convenient, however.
I've been stuck at an intersection with the old foot dimmer switch and my left foot on the clutch, while the poor guy across from me frantically flashes for me to dim my brights.
