Ok so i finally decided to order my long overdue tuner and guages. Problem is i cant get ahold of Jody or James at DP for the tuner nor can i get anyone at RiffRaff. .......anyways thought id try here to see if someone knows where they are? Or maybe i can get Clay or Jody to chime in.

I was thinkin about orderin over the internet but i have a few questions before i order so id prefer talkin to a person but ill ask here im sure u guys can answer.

Guage question is im not sure what color to get for my pillar pod. I have an '03 with the light and dark grey interior the pillar is the lighter color grey. So is it Graphite or Flint grey?

And my tuner question is what mount do i order? Im getting the F5 tuner, is the EX switcher with EX switcher mount what i need to attatch the tuner switch to a guage face?

Thanks for any help in advance guys......ill be workin on my EBPV exaust brake an torque converter lockout in the meantime!

Your interior is medium flint I think. Check your door tag. It will be listed under "INT TR"
Also, there are two swithces for the F5, the EX and the gauge. Pick one. I went with the EX.

 

Ok so on the door it shows a "4H" inder interior color....but my truck is grey not tan! So im confused now.

Do u by chance know if any orders to RiffRaff will be sent out before Clay is back or should i just wait til he gets back?

Yeah i was gona get the guage for the DP but decided against it I will b getting the EX.

 

I have an EX switch laying around that Im not using. I bought it first and used it for a few months, then opted for the switch that fits in a gauge pod. Your welcomed to it if you like, just pony up shipping and its yours.

 

Here is my EX switch. Also, the lighter of the two greys is the medium flint, and is the same as my gauge pod, for reference.



If you order some items (such as exhaust) they might ship sooner because they are drop shipped.

 

Sweet guys...yeah looked a bit more an medium flint is what i need!....would guages be a drop ship item? Sorry i dont know what that means?

Yes, the gauges are drop shipped.

Drop shipping is when someone (like riffraff) sells somthing (like gauges) but dont actually have them in stock. Instead Riffraff tells the gauge manufacturer you bought them and they come to you straight from the manufacturer. Its cheaper and faster this way.

I dont know if Clay's drop ship system is automated or not so he may have to process your order even if they are drop shipped, which would mean you would have to wait for him to get back

Keep the key no where near the ingnition when you unplug the PCM!

 

Ohh the horror stories...

 

Check!...keys no where near the ignition!....but wtf! Got the 10mm bolt out on the firewall side and the two 7mm bolts out on the inside and the damn pcm just doesnt wana come out i pulled perty hard and can see nothing its hanging up on. Do i just pulled harder or what? I dont wana break the damn thing....all i need is the code!!! haha
