vacuum line picture

I have a 1978 f100

I just finished havign the carburetor rebuilt. (carter i bbl)

all is good.

I got about 1/2 dozen vaccum diagram, and i cant make head or tail from any of them.

The line from the advance goes to the bottom vaccum port on the carb?. (yes or no)

the only other vaccum line port. Second from bottom go to the EGR? yes or no.

Does someone has a picture of the air filter assembly showing where? and from what to what? are the rest of the vacuum line go to.

Sincerely

G

You and me both. I'd love a good picture or two with a vacuum diagram.

Kind of in the same boat here. Just rebuilt the 2brl and put it back on the 302. I could really use a diagram for the vacuum lines. Chilton's book didn't have one.

I have a chilton that supposed to cover 1976-1986 but all the vacuum diagrams start at 1979 so i figure they must be the same pre-1979

But anyways ill post all the ones in my chilton for 1979 engines and hope they will help some of you.

Vacuum Diagrams:

Unfortunately, i dont have any pics of my vacuum setup. I have a 390 and a 400 i could take pics of if you like but nothing smaller.

Acronyms

I'm not certain about all the abbreviations on the 1979 302.

VDV, maybe Vacuum differential valve?

But what about the rest?. Here's what I got off my truck:
