I've been seeing them on here alot lately. I don't mind them, except they're very annoying when They appear at the top after I've loaded the page. Half the time, they show up just as I'm about to click on a top thread. I end up in the ad instead.

Rick whereas IB is a business they sell advertising "threads" to people and they get released as a psot release on the top of the forums. They stick out even more for us as supporters because we are not used to seeing ads on the site. Log off and take a look at the forum from that point of view ads galore, if I had ADD there would be no way I could read the forums!

Another thing that may be a contributing factor is that I am running Firefox and using AdBlock Plus. ABP makes almost all those little ads go bye bye. I used my FIL's laptop last week while we were out of town visiting family and with his facncy new Dell, Windows 7 and IE, it was ads galore and slower than my Pentium 4 at home on wireless internet. That's why I use Firefox!
