Kickdown question

what determines when the tranny kicks down? I have a e4od in a 93 f-350 with a 5.8. Sometimes it acts like it should kick down but doesn't unless you stab the throttle. Any ideas? is it adjustable?

Miles on tranny?

Could be the tranny itself, or the computer or valvebody. Only thing that clicks when I think about your problem.

Tried pulling your codes?

The computer determines all shifts, both up and down on the E4OD
