'03 Crown Vic wheels on '02 Crown Vic
I'm considering buying an older ford truck ans swapping it on to a police cruiser running frame. '03 crown vics have 2" offset wheels.
Does anyone know if I can run '03 of newer wheels on a '02 of older crown vic frame to narrow the wheel track by 4 inches?
Thanks

No, I don’t, but I think it is in this info (good luck)!

They both used 16" wheels, so calipers and rotors should fit inside either, both are 5 lug on 4.5" pattern. The '03 wheels do have the hub spaced 2" closer to the outside of the wheel. Shouldnt be hard to find '98 - '02 retired cop cars as a donors, and cheap at that. Plenty of available parts, factory and aftermarket by now. Thats as solid of a powertrain as they made 'em, 4.6/4r70w/8.8. Not rack and pinion steering, tho.
