What are the vitals on your truck?

Engine (assuming 7.3 since it got moved here) Lift? Tires? Rear gears?

We would be happy to help, just give us a little more to work with.

One think ANY 7.3 can benefit from is cleaning the exhaust back pressure sensor and tube. Takes about 15 mins.

Here is a good write up on it: Welcome to guzzle's Exhaust Backpressure Sensor Cleaning Maintenance Web Page

What are you currently getting for mileage, and how are you calculating it? Auto/manual? 4wd or 2wd?

That is sadly about what most 7.3s get.

I averaged 13.3MPG tank to tank, and with a little tweaking im 14-15 now.

But there are some things you can check:

Boost Leaks (Big MPG drainer)
In tank filters
ALL Fluids/Filters

Is that calculating for the tire size difference? And how do you fill up? Till the pump clicks or until you can see the fuel (not foam) in the neck?

I have the same size as him and they are only 3.33% off from factory size, so its not a big difference.

They are the same height as stock. the truck is an XL , so factory tires were 235/85/16.

Well, check for boost leaks in the IC boots. Better yet, take them off, clean them then get yourself a boost leak detector if you wanna be super thorough. I gained about 1MPG by fixing a 1-3psi leak in my AIH delete plug.

Also, clean your EBPS and tube, got about 1 MPG back from that too.

mpg

I have a late 99, 265/75/16, 3.73 4x4, 6673 filter, wastegate line unhooked and plugged. Was getting 16.5 with factory muffler, chopped it off, 17.5mpg, went thru and cleaned the caliper pins + holes real good and used a good caliper pin grease, got an alignment and bang 19.2 mpg the last 2 tanks! Getting parts around to gut the EBPV and while Im at it Im going to chuck up the outlet in a lathe and open the outlet some, we'll see what that does.
