What rear brake drum came on a 1980 F150 2wd w/ 5.0 L V8?

I was stupid enough to buy 11 inch drums without even noticing that there are options for 10 inch. If they are 10 inch on there now, can i replace with 11 inch and just use 11 inch shoes? Will they bolt up the same? How do i measure without pulling the tire? Inside diameter, outside diameter? smooth outside vs. ribbed?

The parts catalog sez only the F100 has 10" brakes; if you in fact have an F150, its brakes should be 11 1/32" X 2 1/4"

 

This gets tricky. If you have an F150, you should have 11" brakes. The F100's are the ones that can have either 10" or 11". It depends on GVWR and whether or not the truck has power brakes. You should be perfectly fine.
