66gpw has a good reputation on FTE.66gpw has a good reputation on FTE.
We can get you a vin decode, but need the Vin #
I have a few shop manuals. And Number dummy has more info on it than I do.
Some other threads suggest going to another thread on 60's truck and they have a vin decoder system posted there.

FTE has VIN decoders, but they aren't worth 2 cents...have a gazillion errors and omissions.

There is a VIN decoder on another Ford truck site, it's poorly set up, difficult for the novice to use, also has errors and omissions. Does not apply (AFAIK) to 1966 or earlier vehicles.

If you want factual info, post the VIN, all the codes found on the Warranty Plate here.

I've decoded over 800 VIN's, Warranty Plate codes for FTE members, so for me...it's a piece a cake, and I use Ford part catalogs to do this.
