Looking to find a two tank bed and was wondering how much help I'll need to load it. Thanks.

 

My buddy and I got my bed off of my truck by ourselves. We picked it up by the wheel wells and lifted/slid it off. It was insanely heavy, though.

 

I think two people is risking a back injury(ask me how I know this). 4 people would work well.

 

Not sure I agree that it takes more than 2. My neighbor and I lifted my lwb bed off with no problems. Granted he's about 6' 6" and weighs maybe 230, but I'm 64 years old so make up for him.

Having said that, I don't want anyone to get hurt, so 4 would make it easy. Or, 3, with one of them being like my neighbor, would be duck soup.

 

I lifted the 6ft bed of my 96 GMC with 2 guys. Yes it was heavier then we expected. I too would sugest 4 guys just to be safe.

 

A 8' bed with NO tailgate weighs about 300-400lbs. 2 people work but 4 is safer
