first all thanks for all the help...I really appreciate all the input,well I finally replaced solenoid,unfortunately no luck,so I pulled codes came up the same. So would you think I need a new injector. THANKS Again

I also removed #3 solenoid to see if maybe the new solenoid was a defect
And put it on to #5 but still no change. Hooked up AE still same codes.

Did you ever inspect the wire bundle going over the drivers side valve cover? That is a common problem as it tends to rub and short out.

I checked wires,everything looks good used a bright surefire flashlight lol...N E ways I got these codes now P0273, P1293,P1274 all pointing to #5 on buzz TEST What I want to do is swap injector #3 to #5 and see if problem follows...Do I just swap it,and do I need to purge air out. THANKS

So you are still getting the short to ground code? Sounds like you may have a wiring issue. You can test the injectors harness at the IDM connector. Unfortunately I am on my phone so I can not upload the tech bulletin. You may be able to find it with the search feature...I think the file name is "IDM replacement guide" or something like that.

Do you know where the IDM is located and how to access it?

The IDM is behind fender ds. Once I get home I'll check it out. THANKS

Okay Im confused when I do the test do I put red lead on IDM to injector ground,okay so where's the ground on injector,sorry I'm lost

The power is common and the injectors fire on switching on and off the ground through the IDM pin #24 is common power, pin #8 is inj. 5 ground. Hope this helps

Thanks GOT it..Here's what I got #2 (3.5) #1 (3.5)
#4 (3.4) #3 (4.5)
#6 (3.5) #5 (3.3)
#8 (3.5) #7 (3.6)

I notice #3 was out of range NOTE I did replace original solenoid from #3 to #5....So the new solenoid is now on #3

THANKS AGAIN Without you guys i'll be stuck

Yep! great info I was just trying to figure where to test..Now i'm trying to debate if I should just purchase a new injector or harness or IDM...What do you think it maybe. THANKS
