Twin Cities plant tour...
Is Ford offering them still as Im going to be going through there in a couple weeks...Does anybody on here know of any workers there ??? I would hope that being an FTE member would give us on here a leg up on the goings on with it.

Cool...thanks...I hope being an FTE member helps...did you know it is Fords first plant outside of Michigan ???
IMO should be on some historical places list...to save it...

I am not sure on what is all going on down there at the plant. I am sure one of the local guys from the Twin Cities will be along and maybe have some more info for you.
BTW what dates are you coming through? Might be able to plan a little GTG when your visiting!

I sure wish I could help you out with the info you are looking for. If someone doesn't answer you first I will try and do some research tomorrow and let you know what I can find out. And we are always open for a GTG if we can arrange something.

Here is there website and they are slated to close THIS year. I am not sure if they are still open or not. I will ask my wife in the morning and let you know. Her company supports the backup propane system out there......

Thanks for the feedback guys...I hope to be coming through in a couple of weeks...I know the plants closing...thus the urgency...I only wish my tired Ranger were up to a road trip...its got a really tired 3.0 in it..

The number is a dead one......at least we know its final day....
Why is it so hard to get a dang tour of an assembly plant ??? Im looking at Chicago too as im gonna be there for a couple of days...ughhhhh....

Ok. I called the Local UAW 879 and she confirmed that they are no longer doing tours at the St Paul plant. Sorry about that news.

Thanks Diesel....I would sure love something from there aside from pics...LOL...a gift shop type place would be nice at this point...LOL...I know...grabbing at straws...its just irritating is all...
