4 wheel disc for the monster

hey guys, havent been on for a little bit. between work, new girl and the beast i havent had much time. thought id throw some pics up though. 4 wheel disc now. did the cross drilled and slotted fronts, new lines, calipers, oem pads, bearings and seals up front, cross drilled rotors, 76-78 cadi calipers to the rear and new synthetic brake fluid though out. man.... crazy difference. that along with the hydroboost and this thing stops like a dream.
front

rear

Looks frickin' awsome man.
Good job.

If you don't mind me asking how much did it cost and was it hard to do. Does not look all that involved, just a few adapters.

rear was no sweat. just remove the axle shaft, remove the locking nut, slide the hub off and unbolt the backing plate. bolt the new adapter on with a 3/8" spacer on the inside of the flange and slip the hub back on. slip the rotor over the hub and bolt the new caliper on. you need the steel to caliper rubber line kit $45, the adapter plate $65, rotors $100, calipers $220, pads $15-150 depending on brand. if you have cores then the calipers are cheaper. its $35 core charge at kragen on each. cheaper then napa and autozone.

oreo i bought that kit that you did basically the caliper mounts, where did you get the steel to caliper rubber kit and the 3/8" spacer from or if you have part numbers that would be awesome too! Also the adapter plate you speak of im assuming is the caliper mount bracket correct?

Looks badass... What are you doing for a parking brake? Or is it already built in?

Thats why he's using the expensive caddy rear calipers. instead of the cheaper chevy pickup front calipers.

YMMV

So they're built in? Dang.. nice. Wish I knew that when I did the axle swap in my jeep cherokee.. Put in a D60 and had to fab up a line lock for a parking brake.
