OK, sure, "You're not looking at PMR's" but I think you took a picture of some.

Lol I was about to put the motor through the wall, But you just put a smile on my face. The whole idea of going through the drama of shipping a motor from the States was because the bloody thing had forged rods.

LOL, yea, sorry man. You could always just order some after market forged rods and replace them since you're already in there.
If I had the money that is what I would do because the stock rods quite frankly are to freaking brittle and skinny. I personally think Ford should have put much thicker rods in these things, but that's me because I like over kill, plus if you plan on going 400HP+ you'll need something other than stock rods and a skirt for the engine.

LOL, that's funny. Well according to the guys forged rods have a nut, powdered rods have just a bolt, no nut

Now I would geet all nice and excited over a set of crowers Jim. But the budget wont allow it bro. A set of forged, cyroed, polished and balanced rods will suffice.

Bummer man... I have a set of Forged rods in the shop, if you cant find a set let me know. Been holding on to them, but there not doing a damn thing in the shop.

Bummer on the PMR's. Do a rod swap and get the rotating assembly balanced. Many do the swap without checking the rods and without balancing. Do it right the first time and never look back.
