I have an early '88 150 4-wd with manual hubs held on by lug studs. When the caliper froze I couldn't stop so drove it a couple miles. The hub got hot enough to melt the lockout ****. Question is where can I get just the **** the rest of the hub is fine. I've tried the local parts stores, no luck. Ford wants a bucket for the whole lockout unit, which I don't need. Tried junk yards but, this type of hub was only made for a short time, so haven't found one there either. Does anyone know where I can get the ****? Thanks

 

Besides a junk yard I don't know anywhere to find pieces of the hub individually. Check NPD here:National Part Depot Page 109

But I think you have to buy the entire hub or a service kit.
