so, I took her out today to help out for a friend's party, this is the first time she's done 'real' work since I got her.
she ran perfectly....I'm so proud
I know its not alot of work....but I'm still proud of her!

Nice... If I was not too far I would have even went down main street to show my truck off doing some work.

You should add those pics to the "Working Trucks Only" thread! Looking better than a show queen!

Well, good to see the old gal earning her keep. I tell new truck owners that they will never be w/o a truck the rest of their lives. Old or new they get in your blood and you have to have one, always.

no worries....she looks just great doing some work,,you should have taken more hotos along the way,,its a very especial moment,,,
woow,,my dad bought one in 1976...from the only owner,,,,that mean ,,she was a 51,,,and after 25 years,,,,not a lot really. considering thta we could buy a 25 year old car today in imaculate condition,,right??
wow....we still have her,,but she has been kept off the road since 1984..thats 27 years,,,what a life!!!

but here in london ,,i bought a pretty 1951 girl,,,,from missouri,,,,in 2003 and she is now having a face lift,,,,will keep the outside all original,,,a bit lowered because of mustang II IFS....and 4 bar at rear,,
then,,the new heart,,,a lump 4.6L v8 mustang engine...auto box,,disc brakes all round,,,,
she will my show car,,,all done very artistically,, will post photos,,,as works go along....
good luck,,and look after her,,,,and giveher always lost of tlc,,they love it!!
