Spotlight on Dent

Who here has a spotlight on their dentside? Mine came with dealer installed spotlight and fog lights from the dealer in Martinsville Va when it was bought new. Just wanted to see who else has one. If you do, show some pics. Mine doesn't work now; need to get new bulb. Im guessing it will be pretty hard to find a replacement. The only pic I have of it is the one in my avatar.

I installed one in the cab roof of my truck a while back: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...ml#post9464002

I like it, but still have to figure out something to use it for!

As for parts, you can get most of them from Unity Manufacturing: Welcome to Unity Manufacturing Company Those spotlights didn't change much over the years.

I have an old school "Unity" spotlight mounted on mine, i bought it off ebay for 5 bucks, it's not the usual one i see on most dents, which are mounted more inward and up further on the cowl just beneath the windshield, this one mounts further outward and forward of the cowl, it has a u-joint in the shaft to allow for the extreme mounting angle, here's a pic....

Montana, that is a nice looking truck, I like the paint on it! I've never seen or heard of the style of spotlight you have either, sounds neat!

i've got two cheap $30 spotlights on my rollbar that you can't move, but they shine pretty bright and are pretty focused.
the one that's pointing backwards is a flood light. pretty handy to have because i have 2.5% tint on the back window and it's tough to see back at night.

Thanks for the kind words Sam, it's just a rattle can paint job using semi-flat black, i still need to tend to some needed body work, it's kinda been in this current state for the last 7yrs.

My truck had one on it but it didnt work and was too far gone to fix so I found one on ebay for $35. The rod on the new one was a little bit shorter than the old but I got it working.
