I have a 1967 F600 with the 330 V8. It needs a distributor. Is there any other Ford engines with more parts availability to interchange with the FT engines?

I believe the FE engines (360, 390, etc) use a distributor that can be modified to work, but I don't know the details on it.

Have you tried your local napa store? They list a stock distributor for a 67 F600 with a 330 FT https://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/R...10&Ntk=Keyword

I am just about positive one from a 391 is the same. I got one from Napa with no
problem, which has the governor and the hole for the tack drive. They want the core
and if you do have a tachometor make sure you save the little driven gear cause it
does not come with the new distrubutor.

 

It depends on which 330, I believe. There is a 330MD and a 330XD. I THINK the XD uses all FT-type parts, while the MD is more like the FE.
