From the Ford Build your own site

"The Camper package includes extra heavy service front springs on 4X2 ( 2 up upgrade above the spring, computer selected as a consequence of options chosen. Not included if maximum springs have been computer selected as standard equipment). Heavy service front springs on 4X4 (1 up upgrade above the spring, computer selected as a consequence of options chosen. Not included if maximum springs have been computer selected as standard equipment), rear auxiliary springs (f250 only), rear stabilizer bar ( SRW only), and slide in camper certification. Not avaialbe with 20" wheels and tires, 3.31 axle ratio or heavy service suspention package."

In other words there is nothing different or special about the rear springs on an F350 with the camper package. The one concern that I would have for adding airbags would be clearance of the sway bar links, but if I remember correctly, they are far enough forward that it should not be an issue.

I got camper pkg on my F350 4X4 for sway bars and the front springs are pretty stout...probably contributes to a little of the "bounce" experienced on small bomps and pot holes

I have all the swaybars without the camper package.

I agree with 720Deere.

Ken if you give us that background or reason for your question we might be able to add more usefull info.

He is looking to add airbags and wants to make sure that they are compatible with his camper package.

Fulltimer50 . . . . thanks for asking . . . the basis for my question is related to the bad chucking I am getting with my F350 and new Cedar Creek (14K#s). Something is initiating the chucking, and I have to find out "what" before I can solve the problem. I was thinking that the camper option was affecting my suspension resulting in the chucking. However, the camper option only add the swaybar to the F350. I don't thank that the camper package is added to the F350, as it already has it.

There must be some way to test my rig to find out what is causing the chucking.

(you may want to call me fulltimer70). . . . . . . .ken

I also have a Cedar Creek about 14000 lb. The only time i notice chucking is on concrete roads with uneven joints. Was thinking about air bag for the pin box on trailer.
