Thought I might drop this in here too.
I now have access to my DVD data for
the diagrams and workbooks

Did you take a look at the PDF I posted in post #16 back on 03-28-2015?
That is the diagram for the wiring. Also let me post the fuse info for you.

Guess I'll have to split this upload.

Does this troubleshooting and wiring apply to a 2002 f350 4x4 diesel also? I need some good info to diagnose what is causing my 4wd not to work. Been kind of piecing info together here and there but nothing like what you have posted in this thread.

It might but I can't say 100% because that info came from the 03~04 book.

I am not sure if my info covers that far back but I;ll look later tonight.

Well bad news I don't have any data for older than the 2003 year.
I thought I had gotten that older DVD for my set but guess that I didn't.
You might ask in the forun for the year and type engine for your truck.

Thank you for checking. I am going to try using the 2003 troubleshooting guide and see if it is the same. I found the 2002 wiring diagram so between the 2 maybe it will be enough to figure it out. I will post what I find out. Thanks again.

Hi, I was wondering if I could get a little help from you on my 2003 f250 6.0,, not engaging in 4x4. I can ground relays and motor engages no lights work other than when it's started. I tried a module from a friend truck and nothing changed. Thank you.

Have a look at the PDf's in post # 16,18 & 19
That should cover all the diagrams for your model year.
First thing to check is all the fuses that related to the system.
You will likely have to test each wire to make sure that it is
not broken at some point. I will see if I have the pinpoint test
steps. I attached some files to this that I have posted before
and the transfer case one just for interest because it happened
to be with all the others when I uploaded them.

Read the diagnostics PDF and post what you find or if you
have other questions once you start the testing steps.

Nope. They are different critters.

If you start a new thread you should get the help your asking for.
Be sure to go into details and if any work has been done.

Ford f350

Went thru all your steps but no power going to shift motor, I have power to relays but no power coming out of relays to 2 pin wiring. Dash light doesn't register and only have power to 4x4 switch when in 2 wheel drive. What's some causes?

Your listing a 2002 in your info page and this may not be the same for you.
