I use to be able to log in to FTE and it would stay logged in. Now it seems as every time I close the safari down to use the phone for anything else it logs me out. Even if I just switch from I version to original version. It's getting annoying. Every time I open the site I have to log back in. What has changed? Also when I am logged on and I would read a thread it would mark the thread as opened. Now it stays as unread no matter what! Do you guys know if it's in my settings? Or did something change on the site?

 

Everything on my iPad is functioning normal. Not sure what going on with your phone.....

 

iPad still works fine that's odd phones in the truck so I don't know bought it.

 

My iPhone says logged in all the time, but I am using the mobile version of the forum. My iPad logs out after like fifteen min. But I am viewing the normal website on that.

For both my iPhone and iPad I keep FTE in my bookmark.
I do not have any problems with either one.

My iPhone is the mobile version too.

How often do you turn your iPhone completely off? So it can up date itself.

Days or so. Re started it last night for sure cause battery went dead. Even just the process of switching from normal version to mobil version will log me off. Same thing if I go to obs or 6.0 site. I'm guessing it must be in some settings somewhere but I haven't messed with any!

 

i on iphone and i just use the safari version and it keeps me longed in in both but sometimes it opends it in moble but im still sighned in, but goodluck on fixing it i do rember seing something about a time limit on when it sighns u out like the guy who said after 15 min im pretty sure u can change it and on ur threds after u vew one and it still showes u havent refresh and it should go away then sometimes mine does that

 

I couldn't see FTE in the app market. I did see there is a mobile version on the browser though, using a HTC Droid Incredible.


Bulla, are you checking the "remember me" box when you login? On a PC you have to login all the time if you don't.

 

I have always had this problem, when I click on something it logs me out when I do anything!!! I dont even bother with it on my phone anymore because of it

Go to Settings -> Safari -> Accept Cookies.

What is it set to?

If "Off", that's your problem. Otherwise, not sure. That said, I haven't logged into FTE on my iPhone, but my iPad stays logged in (has since I joined about a week ago).

 

My iPhone keeps me logged in, however I have noticed that if I close (not just minimize) Safari, then next time I go to FTE it asks if I want to go to the mobile site.
