Soft cover questions

Hi fellow Ford truck owners. I am considering buying a bed cover for my '94 F150 XLT with 6'5" bed. I first was thinking of something like the Extang Trifecta folding cover because it looks so neat and easy to install. The lowest price that I found however, is around $400, on line. Also, I want something that would allow me to set and use a truck tent with minimum hassle. The folding cover needs to be completely uninstalled each time I need the full bed of the truck...

I looked around some more and saw that the snap-on covers are available for my truck and they look to be much more convenient for my purpose because the top can be easily rolled up out of the way for use. Of course, the bows (3) would need to be removed and stored while the tent is up, but they would be much easier to store than the tri-fold cover assembly.

I found so far 2 choices that look promising. The Extang Black Max on sale for $220 shipped Extang Black Max Tonneau Bed Cover

Thanks, I appreciate the response. However, I pulled the trigger on an Extang Trifecta cover last Sunday. I'm excited about it and I hope I don't regret it.
I needed to get that cover for an upcoming long trip and I could not postpone it any longer.

Thanks, I am actually in the market for some tire chains. My truck has 235/70-15 tires. Any ideas?

Let me do some researching. I am not sure if the chains are in stock for the year yet, but I will find out.

What made you choose the Extang over the Lund??? I just bought the Lund a few weeks ago (was also considering the Extang), mainly because of price.

Can't say for sure, but either the Lund was not available for my truck or I could not find it. The Extang store matched another website's low price and I got it for $369. It's still kind of expensive, but I decided to go and get it already. I just don't want to postpone it until it was too late...

SCC Shur Grip Z ($100)

SCC Radial Chain LT ($120)

SCC Z-Chain ($140)

You would add another $15 or so for shipping. These are not on our site yet to order, but I can get them to you still. Give me a call or shoot me an email.

Thank you so much for understanding... I've spent a good bit of $$ already and I gotta start being very careful. BTW, this is what it looks like with the cover installed..

nice! That's a sharp looking cover. No creases, nice and tight. You could bounce a quarter off that thing!

Nice looking truck...The cover looks good. I like the way it looks on your truck better than mine because the sides of my 2010 are tapered and the covers aren't.
