need help 1960 F100 power brake booster

The push rod for the booster should move the same as the pedal rod going in.
5/8" seems way short.

Think about what you just said, 52F3
The master cylinder piston only goes in 1" until it bottoms out so how far do you think it has to move to apply the brakes? Gonna be less than 1"!

How about you think about what you just said.

Seems to me 5/8" is considerably less than 1"

If it applys the brakes at 5/8" stroke that should give you brakes at a little less than 1/2 pedal.

Yeah I thought about it after I wrote that and maybe I should try 1/2" first. I'll do some research and development and get back to ya

No, but as a relatively new member you might try responding with a bit more tact to those offering advice, Banned.I'd say Charm School might be in order.
