V-Code Front Spring Upgrade

Has anyone done a V-Code front spring upgrade without upgrading the rear Springs? I just replaced my front factory bumpstops (one tore off) and only have .75" of suspension travel in the front, with 4.5" in the rear. The front springs have bottomed out a couple times and need the upgrade.
I have had no problems with the rear springs carrying the weight in 5000 miles of towing, and see no need to upgrade the rear. I tow a 7500 pound travel trailer with 800 pounds tongue weight (Cat Scale verified), with an Equalizer brand Hitch. My only suspension upgrades have been Bilstein Shocks and a Helwig Rear Sway bar.

So what's the problem ? Do the v fronts only.

Should not be any proplem., if you don't like the way it sits you can adjust accordingly.

I have the V's up front with the RAS www.activesuspension.com in the back and it sets level 325's scrub the spring a bit at full turn. It will look squatted when pulling a trailer with a heavy tongue weight.

I wasn't sure if doing the fronts only would result in the front riding high, but I guess it will be fine.

I put V's on the front of my F250 and it raised the front 3/4". Considering how worn your springs are, you will probably get 2-3". In my case I still needed more, so I added a mini-spring pack to mine. Now it sits level with the 4" blocks (F350 equivalent) in the back.

I believe it will be High in the front if left stock and no changes to the rear. The RAS lifted mine up around 1.5 inches

I did V's a couple months back, you'll probably be around .25" high in front. You can either swap rear springs or add blocks.

My dad did V codes only and it's *** low a little. He seems to be happy with it. I just installed V codes and F350 blocks. Nice and level.

Will the V code springs help with the wagon type ride? I need to do something about the rough ride with the stock springs. They bottom out on big bumps and are violent on small buckels in the road.

Yes. While they are stiffer, the increased ride height keeps you from bottoming out on the bump stop. My X rides much better since I installed them.
