V-Code Front Spring Upgrade

V-Code Front Spring Upgrade
Has anyone done a V-Code front spring upgrade without upgrading the rear Springs? I just replaced my front factory bumpstops (one tore off) and only have .75" of suspension travel in the front, with 4.5" in the rear. The front springs have bottomed out a couple times and need the upgrade.
I have had no problems with the rear springs carrying the weight in 5000 miles of towing, and see no need to upgrade the rear. I tow a 7500 pound travel trailer with 800 pounds tongue weight (Cat Scale verified), with an Equalizer brand Hitch. My only suspension upgrades have been Bilstein Shocks and a Helwig Rear Sway bar.

I have the V's up front with the RAS www.activesuspension.com in the back and it sets level 325's scrub the spring a bit at full turn. It will look squatted when pulling a trailer with a heavy tongue weight.

I put V's on the front of my F250 and it raised the front 3/4". Considering how worn your springs are, you will probably get 2-3". In my case I still needed more, so I added a mini-spring pack to mine. Now it sits level with the 4" blocks (F350 equivalent) in the back.

Yes. While they are stiffer, the increased ride height keeps you from bottoming out on the bump stop. My X rides much better since I installed them.
