readhering the sliding window frame to glass

what is the best way to do this and get the strongest hold? one of the latch parts of the frame isn't held onto the glass anymore, so even when its "latched", the truck is not secure...

I did mine a long time ago and if I remember correctly, I just used some silicone adhesive. Haven't had any issues with it since, but I also don't use the window that much.

That happened on my '98. Get some of that rear view mirror adhesive made to bond that metal tab that hold the rear view mirror on to he glass. It comes in a like an installation kit.

They will just pop the side window. Not many would take the time to climb in the bed and use that window. A lock keeps the honest, honest. But if you have something valuable in sight, they wont use the sliders... trust me. Reading the options posted I like the CA-Bond idea over the silicone.
