whats the trick to getting these off. Or are they just darn tight

 

Those thread in and have large orings on them. They are just tight but they will break loose. I think I used a ratchet and broke mine loose...a large ratchet but they will unscrew you just have to stand on them. They sell the entire plug and o ring as new.
