front diff?

Im looking at a 1960 ford f100 4x4. what are the axles and transfer case under that thing. I do know that the 4x4 was an afterthought done by marmon herrington.

The rear axle on a half ton would be a Ford 9", the front a Dana/Spicer 44, and the transfer case a divorced Dana/Spicer 24. The Marmon-Herrington relationship on half ton and 3/4 ton trucks ended in 1958. Ford brought the small models in-house in 1959. Stu
