Thanks SS! Hey, I don't mean to hi-jack this thread but I've got a duraspark question I'm hoping someone can answer.
I installed a duraspark 2 but I kept my tfi coil. Its been running great. Then I checked out the gofastforless.com site and he says the tfi coil won't work with the duraspark 2. Am I running the risk of burning up the module or?

And ignore the gofastforless site. It's a fix for a problem that doesn't exist.

Does anyone know if all Reluctor arms are welded equally? I swapped mine out like a month ago for another one that I limited the advance on (so I wouldn't have it sitting undrivable), but I never rechecked the timing. I just made sure I limited and used the same side so it wouldn't be 180 degrees off.
You know, you like look under it and you can see that the pieces are welded together; so I just wondered if they may possible that out of all the reluctors they made that different ones could be a couple of degrees off?

I've never used them before, but I'm going to send my dizzy to Advanced Distributors for a rebuild/recurve. They sound like they know what they're doing.
I would send my own dist work to hin, but I have my own Sun Dist mach. and do my own as needed.

hi
Im trying to do this mod on my 302 2121 edelbrock 600 cfm carb
I left the lite spring only
One is 10L And the other 15 L with 1 g weights
idle 12
1500 18
2000 21
2500 25
3000 30
3500 35
idles the same in city rich mixture
at 65 miles 5th gear the AFR leans too much that it dissapears :0
way too agressive
feals very strong at launching from 0
no pings no hessitations
but smells a lot of gas fumes because of the lean mixture
should I wait for the mr gasket springs?
after it warmed I had some problems starting it so I backed out to 12 again or I could leave it at 10 like the mechanic left it
What springs should i use?
Thanks
