1976 Ford F100 carb/timing problems need help

ok heres the problem a guy gave me a 1976 ford f100 that had been sitting for about 5 years well it cranked right up and runs good just sitting there and it runs good up and down the driveway but when we get it out on the road it bogs down and we have to feather the gas to keep it running but when we let off the gas it start boggin down again

I'd look at all the vacuum hoses and fuel filter on the carb. Also you may need a gooooood ol' fashioned carb rebuild kit .

we replaced that fuel filter and cut the ends off of all the vaccuum hoses and blocked some open vaccuum hoses and it runs like a song now thanks for your help

Ok I have another question how do I change the radio from am to fm

Easiest way is to cut the dash and order a bracket from north country specialties to adapt a modern radio to it.

i found a switch that turns the radio from am to fm that had been broke off but a flat head screw driver fixed that problem jjski i would put a new radio in it but the old radio works good enough for me thanks for the advice

I misunderstood you man. I thought maybe your truck only had an AM radio in it.
