#8 coil burns out #30 fuse blows

With the injector disconnected the O2 sensor is going to see all that unused oxygen coming out the exhaust and the PCM will then drive the other cylinders rich to try to use the excess oxygen. As alloro said - that is going to expose the cats to excessive fuel with possible fatal damage.

I will connect the injector again I was worried about fuel entering the cat and engine oil and cyl wash down form the fuel. I will try driving it with the injector connected and the coil disconnected to see if the fuse. I was able to get all the values (volts-ohms) from a friend who has access to the from ford. I will let you know whay i find. Thanks guys.

Typical Chew and Screw lol....

So what was ever wrong with it ,,,what was blowing the coils ,,I have the same problem put a brand new pcm in it ,,relay still blowing number 8 coil and 30 amp fuse for pats what the am about to run a ground wire white with red stripe from coil to pcm ??
