rear AC on 2005 excursion is not blowing cold air

A/C wasnt working took it to a shop they put in new compressor front worked great, but no rear air. So they put in a rear expansion valve. Still not cold in the rear! I checked both rear blend door actuators and they seem to work properly. Im at a loss what else could it be? Could it be the front blend door behind the glove box causing cold air to not reach the rear? I'm stuck and have no clue what else to look at or research..

Does it blow hot heater air to the rear? Mine did but not cold. Therefore it was the rear expansion valve. Just got it fixed today.

Sader is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
If the shop installed a TXV in the rear and the A/C does not work properly, take it back to them. Maybe they installed it incorrectly?

Cheers

The air handling systems in front and back are separate so one will not effect the other. They share a common coolant and compressor system. The most common issue for the rear is the TXV. Seems to me the shop should not have given it back to you if they did not confirm it was working first. I'd take it back.

The next, much less likely issue is there is major blockage in the rear evaporator. NOT LIKELY AT ALL.

I think they got a bad TXV.

Ok the blend door actuator behind the glove box was bad, so now my question is since that door was not in the correct position would that cause the rear to not get cold?

I'm stumped. Maybe the new TXV is bad. Did they use OEM parts?
