Well, lets see what I can do to make an update...
Finally to a point my truck is starting to look whole again. I got the 460 in, got both D60's cleaned up, installed with all new brakes, and the thing that mainly allowed me to do this was I got my garage clean. :P truck came in fine, but might be tight going back out with the lift. Truck sits pretty dang level considering the lift was all an experiment. Super duty springs front and rear, rears are 8" lift so I didn't install blocks. Going to work on the front driveshaft tonight and get the rest of the engine/trans bolts in. I'm having a helluva time finding longer wheel studs for the rear. I upgraded the front to 9/16" to match the rear and went ahead and made sure I got longer ones, but the rear is more of a challenge. Dorman can't provide any and told me to contact ARP which I did and have heard nothing back.

I'm probably swapping to my flatbed instead of this one. After owning two flatbed trucks, I love the versatility and miss them. I have also come to the realization that by never owning a big truck before, I have some things I need to start aquiring. For one, none of my jackstands are useful anymore without blocks, lol. As you can see, i'm putting a strain on my block collection. Secondly, my little floor jack isn't tall enough to do squat on this truck. I can lift the pumpkin,, that's it. I suppose it's a good problem to have though, I can't wait to drive it.
I have a goal,, to take her to the Jamboree in Indy in Sept. We took my friends truck last year and had a great time, so I wanna go again. I'm not gonna try to win any awards, just show her off a little.

Well, big milestone today. Got my electric fuel pump wired up (still gotta install my switch), got the fuel lines run (still gta button up the line in engine bay) and turned the key... First try, fired right up and showed me I have good oil pressure by squirting oil out of the sender hole which is sans sender. Lol. Call me crazy, but I don't think I'm gna have to adjust anything on engine. :P
Next weekend I'll work on getting the core support in.
